Why can’t I give better wages and some benefits like health care to my attendant?

The government funded programs do not offer adequate reimbursement rates to independent living centers that provide attendant care services. We need individuals, such as consumers and attendants, to advocate for such changes. TRIPIL supports the worker's right to organize with the unions, such as SEIU. TRIPIL is now organizing Consumer Employers to form a statewide Consumer Employer Council to work specifically on these problems.
