Why do you need a new building in Washington?

The current building has many flaws that would require huge expenses to correct. As a result of advocacy, continued emphasis on nursing home transition, and changes in legislation are increasing access to personal care services, TRIPIL anticipates ongoing growth.

A new building will be based on "Green Design" and "Universal Design," making the building accessible and more economically efficient. New programs will include fitness and healthy life styles programs, a training center, an accessible "cooking" center, an expanded Internet cafe, an informal drop in center, privacy areas for consumers, and large meeting space.
