FAQ's > Do I have to work at TRIPIL to take the training for Attendants? Do I have to work at TRIPIL to take the training for Attendants?
No, the basic, introductory Attendant training is for individuals seeking employment as a personal care attendant and is called "Core Training." This training is offered free of charge for individuals recruited by TRIPIL, for individuals working with our consumers, and for individuals interested in becoming an attendant. The hope is that after going through the Core Training that you would become an attendant working with TRIPIL consumers but does not require you to work for TRIPIL.
However, if you are referred or employed by another agency, that agency would be charged a training fee. A fee will be charged for any training beyond the core training for workers that are not working with TRIPIL consumers. This would include mandated annual training or other selected training modules. |
