Tri-County Patriots for Independent Living is funded under Title VII of the Federal Rehabilitation Act through Rehabilitation Services Administration, US Dept of Education, AND by the Pennsylvania Independent Living Act 139 through the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, PA Dept of Labor and Industry, and ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009). Our community is Membership driven. People with disabilities and their supporters work as employees and volunteers to run our programs and manage our boards. Founded in 1990, we have have expanded our ability to serve our community. Advocacy
We are active politically withing our city, county, state and nation to fight for policies and programs that keep us integrated in our neighborhoods and give us a "sporting chance" of achieving our personal goals.  |
