Events and Notifications

Housing Training
TRIPIL will be holding a housing training on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 10 am-3 pm at TRIPIL's Washington office, 69 East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301.

Steve Gold, Nationally Know Disability Rights Attorney, will be our guest speaker. You can find out more at www.stevegoldada.com

Some of the topics that will be covered include;
- Low income housing tax credits in our area
- How are HOME monies being spent?
- How can our ConPlans be beefed up to help our consumers?
- Are the CDBG funds being used properly?
- Develop a strategy for our areas of the state.

General informational sessions
On Monday, June 2nd from 1-4 pm and Wednesday, June 4th from 1-4pm, TRIPIL will be hosting informational sessions. These sessions will take place at our Uniontown office. General information about our services will be offered, along with information regarding Assistive Technology for employment. During these times, Courtney Lowery from Private Industry Council will be present to answer your questions about the program she works for as well.

Please join us for an exciting day focusing on information, education and community services available to persons with disabilities and senior citizens in Fayette County. TRIPIL Services is hosting a fair at it's Uniontown location - come meet and speak with local community members, vendors, and TRIPIL staff who are committed to promoting the independent living philosophy. There will be light refreshments available and door prizes that you can enter to win during your visit. We hope you will stop by the TRIPIL Community Fair on Tuesday, June 17th from 10 am - 3 pm.
